Shoes to go with peach dress - please help!

I am so hopeless at style and fashion so I would really appreciate your help please!!

I’m attending a wedding next month and I’ve managed to find a nice peach coloured midi dress, which I think looks ok on me. I struggle to find anything that looks nice on me as I’m very tall and slim with no curves or shape whatsoever. Think ironing board in a dress. But I’m now completely stuck with what shoes to wear! I have no idea what colour would go with peach 🤷🏼‍♀️ My Husband helpfully suggested peach 🙄 but I don’t know if this is a fashion no go? Like I say I’m clueless on fashion!
Also because of my height I’m always feeling very self conscious to make myself even taller with heels, but I think I actually look even worse wearing a nice dress with flats! It’s a lose lose situation 😣
Please can anyone give me some advice on shoe colours or styles that might suit me and the dress please 🙏🏼 xx

How about gold, or silver? Do you have a photo of the dress?

Its hard to say without seeing the dress. Maybe a neutral tan. Blue could be a good option depending on shade.

I’d go for tan/nude or gold/rose gold shoes

Green would be nice

For a wedding, I think tan or rose gold or a terracotta pink -- and preferably suede. You want a soft match/mismatch. Not blue or green.

I don’t think I’d be brave enough to go a completely different colour, but I’m liking the idea of tan or rose gold! And I think I’m just going to embrace my height (and tower over everyone 🙈) and go for heels.

What is your own colouring? Pale, freckles, tan, dark? Hair/eye colour?

I too was also going to suggest gold or silver kitten heels. Do you have a handbag to match? Are you wearing a fascinator?

Another vote for a bright blue. But if you do have a nude or gold bag. If you have nude or gold shoes go for a bright blue bag. I guess it comes down to are you a shoe or bag person.

I agree with tan, rose gold or silver..or what about a sort of pale grey snake looking effect ?

Can I just reassure you, I've never seen anyone look remotely like an ironing board in a dress? All I see are tall willowy women with height and slenderness I'd kill for!

I would definitely wear grey suede shoes with a peach dress.

@Eleoura After yesterday I’m a terrible shade of red 😂 but usually fairly pale. Hair is mousy brown and blue eyes. I hopeless when it comes to matching bags and accessories too so that will be my next mission 🙈

Thank you @picklemewalnuts isn’t it funny how we’re never happy with what we are and always envy the opposite! I just wish I could wear nice heels without standing out 😆
