Yes pixie. Lots of ideas on Pinterest. Loving the thought of @66babe"s pink one.

Pixie is default for me as I can't grow my thin, very fine hair.

There's a picture of sharon stone's short hair on the other thread on s&b right now. It's lovely.

Before to take to the scissors , consider the effort in growing out a Pixie crop.
It is months of tidying , trying new things to clip it back .
Many times you'll go "Aaaargh just cut it off , cut it offff "

I had a Pixie cut for a few years my hair has a wave so I could straighten it or scrunch it a bit . Went through a whole load of colouring too , it was cut every five weeks , colouring my roots every three weeks (I did my own dye)

5 weeks was "ok" , 6 weeks was "OMG what a mess"

Fine hair behaves well , anything with texture can go a bit mushroom

And I always wear earrings , if my ears were uncovered then more sizeable ones .

Pixie Bob is a good start.
