Have epilators improved recently?

I’ve had a Braun Silk Epil 7 for the last 10 years and am generally very happy with it. However, just recently it’s needed charging quite a bit more than it used to plus it’s always been quite slow to do my legs as it takes a few goes to get all the hairs out.
Are the more recent models much of an upgrade? And are they now more effective at getting more hairs out in one go?
I’m happy to upgrade but don’t see much of a point if all I’m gaining is better battery life.

I went from a corded silk epil 3 to a cordless silk epil 9.

The actual outcome is no better but much easier as it's is a tad quicker as it 40 tweezers rather than 20, it's cordless which is amazing
and wet and dry which is gentler in skin especially underarms.

Overall i use it much more than the old one.

I think the new silk epil flex looks good too and I'd like the skin spa brushes.

Gosh I had no idea how expensive some of them are! Interesting that some have double the amount of tweezers though.
I think if I’m going to spend that much I might as well just get a Lumea instead. I bought the Braun version last year and it was great until it became faulty and they’d gone up in price when I returned it so I never got round to replacing it and just went back to my trusty epilator. But perhaps now is the time to invest again.

Mine was around £70 but would a lumea. Wouldn't have clue with which one though!

Would love a lumea- I'm so tired!
