I had got balayage in my dark brunette hair a month ago and I feel it is too light, I have gone back to the salon to get it toned darker, which worked but fades fairly quick. I don't want to have to go to the salon every month to tone it, so was trying to find something I can use at home to extend between appointments. I have found these products and was wondering if anyone has any experience or if any colourists can offer their opinion on them.

I am most tempted by the top one, but would love peoples thoughts before I buy.
Just as a note I have been using sulphate free shampoo, washing my hair less frequently (once/twice per week), washing it in cooler water, and avoiding heat styling, so doing what I can to make the colour last.
