How does the new formula ELDW Light foundation compare to the old formula?

I'm running low on my old trusty tube of ELDW light. I've realised it's the only foundation I've got that doesn't rub off on my face mask. I've read some negative reviews of the new formula and wondered if anyone here has tried it. I'm also not sure about the colours. I was using intensity 1.0 but I'm not sure what that translates to in the new range.

I haven’t tried the new one, I was put off by crap reviews, but I switched EL Futurist about a year ago and really like it. It’s not as long-lasting as DW, but it’s not bad and the coverage is a lot more natural-looking.

It does rub off on face masks though!

I have always used the normal eldw but just purchased the light version to see what it was like. I don’t get it, it feels thicker than the normal one and seems not to blend well. Hope it works better on your skin but I want be buying again

It must have been a few years since the new one came out? I asked instore which new shade corresponded to my old shade.

Yes @cannaethink - I think the formula changed a few years ago. I just have too many foundations so I never seem to actually get through a bottle/tube because I'm always switching between different ones. I had forgotten I had it tbh but tried it out the other day because I was getting annoyed by how much make up was rubbing off on my mask. I'd forgotten how much I like it. Sod's law that they discontinued it before I'd realised I love it!
