Sunscreen

I'm going cross eyed reading about sunscreen so can anyone help and tell which is the best one available for the highest protection? I'm fair with freckles and burn walking under a lightbulb so I need the best I can buy. I normally just use Boots Soltan, is that good? I'm so paranoid about burning!

Looking at Avene Intense Protect but it doesn't say how many stars for UVA? I use La Roche Posay daily on my face so should I use their body sunscreen on my arms etc?

Help!

@BooksChocolateAndSleep I might be wrong but I'm sure you need to look at the stars on the back for the UV coverage. The supermarket own brands seem good enough

@BooksChocolateAndSleep Also, I've recently ditched my usual moisturiser of 'whatever is cheapest/on offer' and started using Tesco face suncream and its made such a difference!
