Dresses for size 20

I have put on a lot of weight over lockdown (though hardly slim before it) and am now a size 20/22 with big belly, boobs, and rear end.

I wanted to lose weight before buying new clothes but my existing clothes are either worn out or too small. Could MN suggest some dresses I could get that are somewhat flattering?

I have the added complication that I cannot wear most synthetic fabrics (instant and awful BO) though I have found through trial and error that I can get away with 95 percent viscose 5 percent elastane. So it's either that or cotton.

I love the look of the 50s dresses but am unsure how I'd look in them and how to wear them. Would I need a corset?

Thank you!

Have you looked at joules?

Following as it sounds like we're in exactly the same position. Your body type sounds similar to mine too. It's really tough this year, especially with the warm weather appearing and nothing from previous years fitting. I've had to panic buy a few things to see me through.

I've been wearing these, from very: www.very.co.uk/v-by-very-2-pack-maxi-dress-multiprint/1600508150.prd
With a denim jacket over the top.

I got a three pack of slim belts from boohoo, just to break the dresses up a bit:

I'd say size up, so probably the 22, because they're marginally see through if the material is stretched too far. Snag chub rub shorts have saved my thighs, and because they come up to under my bra, help hold me in a bit too.

I've got the added pressure of a wedding next month, and can't fit into anywhere I would usually shop because they mostly stop at a size 18. I'm trying, but it'll be a long shot to get there in 4 weeks!

Hopefully you get some brilliant suggestions I can steal...
