What happens when you stop getting Botox?

Is Botox one of those things that once you start you can't really stop and have to keep it up?

What happens if you had it for, say, a couple of years and then stopped? Would
Your face be any worse off than if you didn't have any Botox during that time?

I have been having regular Botox (about every 4/5 months) for about 5 years. Not for wrinkles but to lift my brows and the sagging corners of my eyes. It makes me look refreshed and awake. Due to lockdown I had to have a 9 month gap and eventually managed to get an appointment for a top up last month. Nothing terrible happened but my eyes gradually started to look tired and droopy again. It didn't age me overnight, I just gradually reverted to the way I looked 5 years ago before I started using Botox. Two weeks after my top up and I'm back to looking wide eyed and alert.

I agree with the poster above . You face would not be worse off in fact it would be better than if you had never used it as you are not continually frowning and making the lines worse. You know yourself when you need doing .

Your face would look better than if you had not had botox at all as those muscles have not been used whilst the botox was in effect. If you didn't get topped up though the lines would just slowly start deepening again.
