Talk to me about LV Neverfulls please!

Oh fashionistas of MN.

I have been eyeing up LV Neverfulls for some time and am almost at the point of purchasing. I am dithering over whether to go for the LV print or the checked style. I think I’m going for the mm size rather than the larger one. It’ll be a day bag for shopping and also for the return to the workplace.

Any thoughts / guidance? I want a bag to last - do these “date” in particular styles/prints?

I have the MM Neverfull in the Damier Azur print, it’s my summer work bag from May to September. It’s a great size and good for putting the odd bit of salad stuff or coleslaw in! I keep a food bag for anything that might leak!
I am thinking of getting another LV and think it will be the mono print as the Damier Ebene is more just brown to me and I don’t wear brown!

I had the large one and it was my daily go to bag for years and years. I honestly loved it so much. It was great to just throw over your shoulder and I carried everything in it. I tried the smaller one and I found that it was just a tad too small for carrying over my shoulder if I were to have put a bunch of stuff in it. I thought the larger size was great for me. I could put my shopping in it, even my laptop. An extra pair of shoes for a night out. The larger one also came with an extra a zip up pouch that can be used for make up or just a clutch type thing. I got so many compliments on the extra pouch as well.

I eventually used it so much that I pretty much wore it out (wore small holes in the bottom edges of the canvas) and almost repurchased the exact same bag because I loved it so much. I ended up getting another LV bag and I never ever use it. I regret that purchase.

It's a great bag and I'd say get the larger one because the price isn't that much more and I think the larger actually looks better than the smaller. It's a pretty classic bag, although I don't see them around much anymore. Not as popular as they once were I guess

Oh and regarding the colour I just love the classic LV print. Not that keen on the Damier one at all. I don't like the brown but I do like the cream and blue print in that one

Thankyou! Darn the Delta - makes me feel. A bit nervous about going into the cities for a try on, so I’m trying to work out which one just to order online/over the phone.

Are they leather or canvas? I like the size and shape but baulk at idea of a grand on a canvas bag…

I have the Graceful which I liked better than the Neverfull as it has a closing magnet, also you don't see them as often. Mine is in Damier Ebene but I do love the classic monogram print as well.

I have the Damier Ebene in GM with cherry interior. I longer for this bag for over a decade and my dh bought it for me for my birthday. I've had it for almost a year and it's a brilliant bag. I use it daily as a handbag as also a nappy bag at times for my dd. I bought an insert from Etsy that is really useful too. He originally got the MM and I wasn't a fan of the size so swapped it but I much prefer a larger bag anyway. You won't regret it!

I really like the cherry interior. I have to decide on size or whether to go monogram or Ebene. Will probably go for the classic brown as we’ll be into summer and working toward the darker clothes months by the time I purchase it.

I got the Damier Ebene in M and I love it. You can get a surprising amount in it, and the pouch comes in really handy for use as an informal clutch. I wish it had a zip across the top though...

I prefer the monogram to the Ébène, partly because the Ébène is more widely copied round here.

Personally if I was going to go for one I love the Épi Leather, although it is quite a bit more. It’s a bit more understated.

I bought the MM in monogram earlier this year and I absolutely love it. I can't wait for it to get the more used look rather than looking so perfectly new.

I've had the MM monogram for nearly 7 years and it's great and still going strong, I've recently bought the cream one too and the handles are so hard compared to my old one. I'm sure they'll soften in time.

Interesting reading... have you ever caught and torn the dangly bits at either end?
This is what I am worried about with this model.

I have a monogram mm which I used to use for work before lockdown. It is very versatile and I like clinching the sides to change the shape.
I am a LV fan but I don't have any ebene pieces. I am cool toned and azur is my favorite.
You won't regret your neverful.
