Help please! Barbour jacket

Hello.
I finally have a Barbour jacket I love. Wanted one for ages to walk the dog, it is just the right length (bum covering) nicely fitted and has dark floral trim on the insides. Bargain JL sale.

Anyway, I bought it for dog walks - perfect apart from one thing... no hood!! What am I supposed to do when it rains? What do people wear as a head covering ?

Please help!!

Mine has a hood but I'd probably just buy a waterproof bucket hat.

Be warned though, mine is not remotely breathable and can get very muggy.

You can buy a matching hood from barbour and it clips on to the press studs underneath the collar- I wear a fedora or a flat peak though

I'm planning to buy a Barbour jacket. I want one of the bucket hats. Apparently they're a better option than the hoods, less muggy.

Riding coats generally have no hood. So a hat. Wide brimmed and waterproof works!

Is a fedora waterproof?

My Barbour has a hood. If the coat has the bottom bit of the poppers under the collar you can buy the hood separately.

Not all styles have the poppers. You will need the hood that is compatible with the jacket style.

I bought my Barbour hood separately. I actually prefer that it's detachable because when my hair is loose I like to take the hood off, and when it's up I like the hood on - don't ask me why

I wear an Akubra hat. No idea if you can get them over here though.

I can't see it online though. It is called Kyloe wax print Grn Gmni. Was reduced to £114 from £229 ☺️

I got Barbour Beadnell wax in navy and I bought the matching hood separately.
I just got another Barbour in quilted pattern but this one has no hood option. I was searching everywhere even in others companies to see if I sell matching or similar hood but they do not do quilted hood.
