Dress search help please!

Hi I’m off to a wedding in two weeks time. I’m after a dress preferably v necked but not too low. I’m thinking long but open to suggestions. I’m 45 and size 10-12 5ft 5. Budget up to £150 if it’s truly gorgeous. Not into anything frilly or too fussy but don’t mind something a bit unusual. Can anyone help? Thanks

Have you found anything close? If so it would be helpful to add links and say why you rejected.

Also good to know which colours you like and whether you’re looking for prints, florals, plain colours.

Otherwise it’s just a crapshoot!

Thanks for your reply. I’m ok with plain or floral and pattern. Don’t want red, yellow pinks or nudes. Prefer jewel colours. Don’t want silky or satin that’s really clingy. I’ll try and post a few that maybe close.

Hi thank you everyone, my style is definitely more like the dancing leopard dresses. Not keen on the next ones or the Isabel dresses the yellow isn’t the right colour for me and too short. Love the colours of the blue but not the straps.

Have you googled "wedding guest dresses"? That's what I did last time I was looking and loads came up from shops I hadn't even heard of.

Try apricot too, they had some love ly long dresses that would work for a wedding

I’ve had another search

Love the colour of all of them standrewschool but not keen on ghost dress sleeves, the Bardot one is too formal and the dark red a bit frilly. Everything is very close but just not quite me. I think I’m being too picky and may just order a few of everyone’s suggestions and see if the look different on. I think I’m looking for something a little bit different from the norm but then I’m being really picky. Thanks again for everyone’s suggestions you’ve got me thinking.

At least I’m heading in the right direction. Think I understand the colours you like, now just got to find the style. off to Google more...

This is my favourite out of that selection I love the colours and pattern. It’s not what I had in mind dress style wise as it’s a bit fitted in the skirt but I might order and see what it’s like on.
