Trendy quick drying trousers

Help! I want some Light weight travel trousers.
Everyting I look at in outdoor style shops looks awful, I want them to dry quickly if it rains and be trendy. And pockets. Not linen as I will be travelling. I feel like I’ve looked at so many pairs and their so ugly!

Any ideas?

I know you said not outdoors but check out arcteryx, the kyla ones are really good and great shape too.

Thanks, they look good, still quite hikey (is that a word!) . But they only go up to a 14. Which I am not.

I think Magic trousers might work, they dry quite quickly although that is not their USP. I think they come in 2 sizes, standard which is about 10-14, and plus which is 16-20. They are not cutting edge but reasonably on trend - they don't look like hiking trousers, for sure.

Quick drying generally means technical fabric so you probably need outdoor brands. Try Rohan. They have a wide size and length range and do some more minimal styles without the usual hiking details, pockets, knee seams etc. Also very high quality.

Acai trousers.

Taliskerskye · 09/07/2021 15:11

Acai- yes they look like normal trousers!

Tencel/lyocell dry very quickly in my experience! Lots about in COS, H&M and &OS

MostIneptThatEverStepped · 09/07/2021 17:45

Can recommend Acai!

Taliskerskye · 09/07/2021 19:54

Oh I like those Uniqlo.

I was going to say Acai too. I’m not sure what you mean by ‘trendy’ - they’re not fashionable, but they are simple enough to not look like outdoors/sports wear whilst still ticking the practicality boxes.

BikeRunSki · 09/07/2021 22:19

Finisterre they are not technical though.

BikeRunSki · 09/07/2021 22:23

at Rohan?

missmoon · 09/07/2021 22:32

Patagonia have some decent looking trousers.

NotMeNoNo · 09/07/2021 22:35

Anything in Patagonia /Columbia, they are a bit more travel oriented in some of their ranges?
