GHD MK4 vs Cloud 9

I have had wide plate GHDs MK4s for so, SO long now, and I know the GHDs after the MK4 weren’t as good.

Could cloud 9s be better than these?

GHD were sold to China I believe.
So 'modern' GHDs are nowhere near as good as the originals.

Original GHD founder then started Cloud Nine. My Cloud Nine straighteners are brilliant, had them 5 years now.

I think I’m just confused because I know I have the GHDs that are deemed to be the old good ones, but are Cloud 9 any better?
I know they are better than the GHDs made since then - I was shocked when I bought a new pair years ago and they were bloody awful 😂

My hairdresser used cloud 9s on me today to do waves. It took her 5 minutes. It seriously tempted me to get a pair. But I don't know how much of that is the amazingness of the cloud 9s and how much of it is her skill and practice!
