Find me a new bag for work!

I’m returning to the office with ‘hybrid working’ next month and desperately need a bag to carry all my crap around!

It needs to be able to carry my laptop (small), headset and cables etc as well as the usual purse, keys, water bottle. I either drive with a 15 min walk or get the train with a 10 min walk so not huge distances. I’m in my early 30s in a creative industry so looking for something not too corporate but still smart. I usually go for quality over price and have just had a promotion so could afford up to £400 ish. Currently I’m using my Longchamp Pliage but the lack of internal compartments is crushing my soul slowly.

I don’t even know where to start in terms of bag style etc so I’m looking for any help or ideas.

Just seen your budget, but even so this looks good very Laboutinesque.

Knomo are well known for stylish, practical work bags knomo.com/. You can sometimes get them in TKmaxx, but not in black. I’d have a good think about whether you want a ‘handbag’ with thin handles & lop sided or something a bit more practical . Where does the style vs comfort and practicality line lie ?

Osprey do gorgeous bags. I have several and I'm getting another for my birthday in a couple of months I know because I picked it myself.
