Nose Pores/Blackheads

Has anyone found the holy grail solution to the above?

I have soooo many different skin care products. Recently started using Paula’s Choice liquid exfoliant, which is ok ish so far, I’m persevering with it before I write it off as another product with the promise of great things!

Anyway, my nose and around that area plus chin has blackheads that I just can’t shift. My skin is generally clear and this is my only frustration really that I can’t achieve the clear skin on my nose.

Any suggestions of products that actually work would be fantastic!

Are they blackheads or sebaceous filaments?

I found nip and fab glycolic cleanser and serum good for shrinking my nose and chin blackheads. I still get the odd worm, but they’re noticeably smaller

I had a salicylic acid peel done and this removed them .

Found some on Etsy , watched YouTube tutorials and going to be doing it at home from now on ... wish me luck!

I think if they're not particularly dark and they stay small they're sebaceous filaments instead. I have them and I have tried everything to get rid of them. I think they're not supposed to go.
Anyway, right now my chin is trashed thanks to wearing masks, even though I don't wear any makeup!

Generally what will help,

• Dermatica / Skin and me - prescription retinoids
• BHA

Vitamin C products can make them look worse on some people as they can cause the oil in the pore to oxidize and look darker

I have sebacious filaments and found that Johnson clean and clear wash has worked well, and then not using any foundation, makeup or moisturisers.

My skin is older now and makeup just drips off my skin, so I just stopped trying and my skin is far better.

Religious daily use of a BHA toner (Paula's Choice or La Roche Posay) and weekly use of Caudalie's detox mask have really improved my nose, the pores are a lot less visible and actual blackheads almost non-existent. The oil level in general seems better too.

Thanks all. Some interesting suggestions to try out. Honestly don’t know if they are blackheads or as others have said- sebaceous. It’s just frustrating when the rest of the face is generally clear bar that area. 🙄

I use niacinamide lotion and Grace & Stella blackhead remover mask. This is an interesting read
