Cotton tshirts shrinking

I only wear 100% cotton in summer, but everything I have that is 100% cotton shrinks a bit, even if I follow washing instructions. I like long line t-shirts to hide my tummy, but they do not stay long line for long. Now looking for 95% cotton t-shirts with maybe 5% elastane. Do they wash better?

Do you tumble dry them? I don't tumble dry my cotton tshirts as they all shrink, and I only wash them on 30.

I tumble dry the ones that say they can be. I don't have much space to air dry ( small London flat, no garden). I wash on 30, never higher.

I always wash on 30 and T shirts are usually fine but have had the odd one that's shrunk. Price isn't always an indication of quality - have had Hush t shirts that go out of shape after first wash!

Rapanui T Shirts are 100% cotton and wash well

I find that tumble drying them, even if they are supposedly able to be tumble dried, shrinks them. My t shirts are mostly from whistles and jigsaw - and I don't tumble dry any. It shrinks them

Do you iron them? Sounds silly but I have both cotton and viscose stuff that shrinks in the wash but once I iron it (well I actually steam them as I hate ironing but same principle!) then they return to their original size.

I find just washing them makes them shrink it can't be me getting fatter
