I have a wedding and christening to attend at end of July and I need a dress. I’m not a dress person so I have no idea.
The weather is usually 35-40C but the church is conservative so no backless or shoulders-out which rules out many summer dresses. Also, lightweight fabrics but no see-through and preferably not super light colours (multicoloured is fine I just don’t want to class with the bride (off white) and the bridesmaid/flower girls in peachy/light pinks and azure. Maxi would be lovely but with short legs I know that’s impossible sometimes.
I’m 5’1 and 45 yo. While I’m fairly fit and size 10-12 on trousers, I’m a 32H bra and dresses that fit all over are a nightmare to find. Also, many v-neck dresses look too attention-seeking and I want to avoid anything that can be construed as “plunging” and upset the old grandmas of the family. 
Around £200, if it’s possible?
Any ideas? TIA.
