Boots returns

Bought (what I thought was) my usual no7 moisturiser today, moisture surge, oil free. Just gone to apply and realised I've picked up the one for dry skin 🤦‍♀️
In my defence, the packaging is SO SIMILAR.
I've not even opened the box.
Website says they return make up, unopened...nothing specific to face creams etc.
Anyone had similar and did they exchange it OK? TIA

If you have your receipt it should be returned no problem at all.

I bought tinted moisturiser from Clinique in Boots the other day. The sales assistant specifically said I could return it if it didn’t work for me, as long as I had the receipt, since they can’t test it on your face or give you a sample.

Oh great- thanks. Still got the receipt, I'll make sure to actually read the box properly next time, I was too busing chatting to the lady on the counter 🤦‍♀️
