Elastic waisted mid-rise non-skinny jeans - does such a thing exist?

I'm throwing myself at the collective wisdom of Mumsnet in the hope that someone might have seen this elusive item on their travels! It's only the holy grail of jeans. Can anyone help me track some down? All the elastic waisted ones I've found so far are either massively high waisted old lady ones, or skinny jeggings style.

I got them in winter for endless days sitting at the kitchen table working, and they are very comfy, and look great. The denim is nice and thick, not stretchy. I’m 5ft 6 and wear them with a turned up hem because they come up long.

Next tapered elasticated waist jeans I have some super comfy.

I think higher waisted paper bag style are better than the mid rise ones which might look a bit dated.

This may sound weird, but have you considered maternity jeans? The ones that have elastic bands sewn on the waistband (not the ones with a stretchy bit that covers the whole bump) may actually work for what you want.
