Lip filler cysts/ lumps - a long time later

Any experiences of removal? I was so stupid. Went to a cowboy beautician in my twenties and she injected God knows what into my upper lip... promising me that this one would last longer than the restalyne I was used to.

I ended up with an incredibly long lasting filler (after first attending A&E for the massive swelling of my entire face after the filler was put in) which eventually after some years formed lumps.

One of those is really prominent now, I think it's because of changes to my skin elasticity etc with menopause.

I know they can inject a liquid to dissolve it but wondering if it'll work on such an old filler.

Any experiences or recommendations?
Thank you

If it's a ha filler then Hyalase will work. My friend had her lip filler dissolved, but took two sessions of Hyalase. If it's not a hyaluronic acid filler then you're looking at surgical removal

Thank you for this Villanelle. The daft thing is, I can't remember what the filler was called or where the clinic was. It's all a blur Confused
