What would it be?

For me, Jo Malone's lime, basil and mandarin. I smell it and it immediately takes me back to hot summer holidays in the Caribbean.....

However. If I started this thread in the winter I'd say chanel coco

Which just demonstrates the impossibility of just choosing one perfume forever, doesn't it!

I have become a bit of a perfume tart. For many years Liz Earle No 100.
Then my DH bought me Jo Malone Peony and Blush which I love. I bought Floral street London Poppy.
Then my DH spoilt me and bought me a Jo Malone advent calendar and now i wear perfume everyday, but which one depends on my mood.

Ah Clinique Wrappings brings back wonderful memories. It was discontinued then a good friend bought me a bottle in Selfridges when she went to London a few years back and I really didn't like it on me. Wonder if they changed the formula?

Molecule 01. I do really like Fat Electrician too though.

I love Fat Electrician, but on me, it smells very much like Fat Carpenter - really woody.

My favourite ELd'O is Like This. It's such a comforting, warm, homely smell.

L'occitane, "Fleur d'Or & Acacia", discontinued now sadly :(
Used to love Shiseido's "Relaxing fragrance" until it got discontinued too.

In the 80s Boots No 7 had one called Lemon Drench. It could be that one?

Same! I love it and have had lots of other favourites discontinued so it's a worry.

Chanel Allure

I know its not popular here nut I just love Chanel no 5. Followed by Dior J'ador then DG The One.

Seen quite a few of my perfumes mentioned already.

For me it has to be Angel by Thierry Mugler. It's been my go to perfume since I was a teenager. Love it.

There was a perfume called Night Musk which I adored. So that, or Jovan Musk.

I've always loved Angel but it smells terrible on me

the reformulated Clinique Wrappings is nothing like the original. I bought some and had to wash it off, as the smell was offensive. It was my all-time favourite, so very disapppointing

If anyone has found a good alternative, or knows of any similar perfumes that contain real oakmoss, I'd love to know.

I think it's too hard... lots of favourites here already - LBM, Wood Sage and Sea Salt, Pomello, philoskos...

I'd probably choose Hermes Un Jardin sur le nil for summer, closely followed by L'Occitane Pamplemousse et rhubarb (I get so many compliments on that). And for winter Jo Loves Red Truffle or Tom Ford Black Orchid.
