What would it be?

For me, Jo Malone's lime, basil and mandarin. I smell it and it immediately takes me back to hot summer holidays in the Caribbean.....

However. If I started this thread in the winter I'd say chanel coco

Which just demonstrates the impossibility of just choosing one perfume forever, doesn't it!

Coco Chanel without a doubt. Nothing comes close in its ability to make me feel as grown up and sexy as that perfume and it fades beautifully on me as well so still smells delicious at the end of the day.

Does anyone know where I can but Chanel No 5 reasonably? Dd would love to try it. She has a birthday coming up but I can’t find it under 3 figures.

I have lots of perfume, but I’d have to go for something I could wear anywhere and that wouldn’t be too in terms face or end up pissing me off.

Maybe a calming, powdery, pretty floral like MFK Feminin Pluriel or Love, Chloe (although the latter is discontinued )

Clinique Happy but I also was a huge fan of Laura Ashley No.1, which was my first grownup perfume. I keep a bottle of 4711 to dab on scarves to remind me of my Nana.

Loving the love for L'air du desert marocain and Givenchy III. I have a tiny vintage bottle of the Givenchy which I wear whenever I need to feel fearless. And Habanita is amazing too.

I couldn't choose just one. Memoirs of a Trespasser by Imaginary Authors comes close though. Good memories.
