Where on earth can I buy ...

reasonably priced mainly cotton (ideally 80-100%) clothes, that won't make me look even more a middle aged frump than I am ... I don't want jersey - I'm too overweight for jersey.

I would also like tops, skirts and dresses with pockets but that's a whole different thread.

Sick to death of feeling hot and bothered in polyester, elastane and viscose

Depends what you class as reasonably priced but Harkel have just a released their new dress collection - the plain ones might be suitable.

I've started buying from Seasalt and embracing my frumpiness. Beautiful cottons and linens and they feel so lovely against the skin.

You need to say what kind of prices you consider reasonable.

Thought, although they are quite keen on bamboo viscose too.

H&M has lots of linen in at the minute there’s some nice jumpsuits with pockets in plain and patterned

Emily and Finn have some nice cotton dresses, with pockets.

Plumo has nice clothes in natural fibres (and has a sale on). Love my clothes from there!

Ah yes - sorry - for good quality stuff happy to pay up to £65-75 for a dress, and about £40-50 for a top. Although sales prices would be better!

I've got some thought stuff but preferred the boho styling of when they were Braintree. I've got some seasalt but I find the sizing doesn't always work for me - 14 can be tight and 16 drowns me ...

Have a look at Brora, they're not just for cashmere and woollens. I got a lovely linen dress in their sale last year. Though I did just look at their t-shirts. £50 in the sale! 100% cotton and it says hand wash.
