Most comfortable skinny jeans for short size 10/12

Having lived in leggings for the last year, I'm thinking about getting back into skinny jeans but find it hard to get ones that are comfortable.

I'm 5ft 3.5in, size 10/12, fairly chunky of thigh and calf. Regular length are always too long so I need a short / petite length. Dorothy Perkins petite used to be my go-to but the last couple of pairs I had from then before Arcadia went bust were kind of cheap feeling and not a great fit. I want a pair that feel light and stay stretchy after being washed. Don't mind paying more for decent quality and fit.

Any ideas?

The short/petite ones from m&s are brilliant, so comfortable and a range of colours. They have decent stretch for any leg shape.

I’ve got size 10 short Carrie jeans from M&S and they’re very comfy (I’ve got a 27” inside leg and they’re full length on me)
