Clark's cruiser shoes

Just took DS for his first shoes last night, after a huge meltdown and one very patient staff member we finally got some 😅

We tried a few weeks back but DS was tired and it didn't go well, long story short the lady got quite impatient and told us to come back another time - he wasn't walking then so she originally said 'since he's not walking yet we would suggest cruising shoes' so we started looking at the selection.

He started cruising from around 10 months and is now walking/toddling everywhere in the house over the last week or two at 14 months (haven't had him walking outside yet as wanted to get some shoes first).

They sold us pre-walker cruising shoes, the softer sole type. Is this right?
Im wondering if it's just better for his feet/bones while he is still growing a lot?
Or should we have bought normal toddler shoes since he can walk?

Hope someone can help! Thanks 😁

As you've described him as "toddling" around the house, no I wouldn't have thought that those shoes are unsuitable. Far better to have shoes that are less sturdy, than have harder ones while his feet are still developing. If you really feel they need outdoor shoes, maybe try some soft soled outdoor shoes (I know Asda have a first walkers range)

Thanks!

Yes I thought they were probably better for his feet while he's just starting to walk everywhere.
