Apple officewear

It’s 9 years since I have been inside an office and I now need to go to see customers once or twice a week as a consultant. I have no clothes whatsoever that are suitable, and I’m a tall 16ish apple with a terrible mid section, so difficult to dress at the best of times. I see from looking at the office wear convos that suits are out and dressed and trousers are in. I’m looking at cos and thinking if booking in for a personal shopper appointment at John Lewis. I guess I only need to start with a couple of outfits. Any thoughts?

I'm an apple shape. I find slimmer trousers and tucked in shirts / waist length cardigans look so much better on me x

I have never done tucking in at all, as I have the b belly, spare tyre at the top and Caesarian pouch at the bottom.are you doing a loose tuck? Is the cardigan sorter? I am so clueless

To be honest I have a tummy aswell but think the tucking in and then a little cardi over the top just makes it al look so much neater and immediately gives you a shape whereas loose baggy stuff just emphasizes the stuff we dont want to see. O always go for cardi that sits bit below my waist x
