Air & Grace trainers

I spotted these recently linked on here, and am a little bit in love.

I would never have considered paying so much, but lockdown has done funny things to my brain hah!

I'm wondering if anyone has this brand and how they Size? I always thought I was a 7 but recently returned size 7 Adidas gazelles, and vans for being right up to the toe neat. I think after all these years I might actually be 7.5 🤔. I bought a pair of black superga 7 (alpina cotu) and they come up a little big - in a good way.

Purely looking for size comments. I realise they're not to everyone's tastes

I often buy shoes, then later realise they hurt one particular toe for some odd reason so I'm extremely cautious.

Do you think my mum would take me to Clarks and put me on the machine to measure my feet??? 😂

I have a pair of A&G’s in a 7 and they fit perfectly. I’ve gone up a half a size in Air Max’s and Adidas but stayed a 7 in Superga’s if that helps.

Myshitisreal · 30/06/2021 21:05

That's amazingly what I need, thank you!

Do you find them comfortable and worth the money??

They’re quite rigid but comfortable, although I’ve had mine a while but I don’t wear them that much. I also got them for an utter bargain in the John Lewis sale so I paid half price. I always get compliments on them though and they still look as good as the day I bought them even though I’ve worn them on a few nights out.

If you love them….Smile

I sizef up in Cru but got regular size in Roxy. They’re comfy, but flat. No arch support at all.

Hmmm. Arch support 🤔

I think I have very flat feet. I have plantar fascitis.

The superga are amazing, I don't think they have arch support. I feel like a child, I'm debating what arch support is. Think I missed my adult badge for shoes. Embarrassing. I do wish I could try a shoe on and someone would poke my toes and tell me if they fit 🤭

Dm boots are great for me (once broken in). I can't do converse, I can feel the ground, almost like a shock/jarring.

Interested to read more comments.

Appreciate the handholding

They definitely have thicker soles than converse, similar to Superga.

You can order, try them on and return them if they’re not right can’t you? (And get a grown up to check the fit Grin )

Myshitisreal · 30/06/2021 22:51

This is good information. Great comparison, thank you

Does anyone else have any links to trainers with Similar aesthetic? I don't wear white trainers.

I've got four pairs, all Cru, I am.a size 5, I find them slightly on the large side compared to Superga, but not enough to go down to a size 4. Definitely my favourite trainer brand, so comfy and not ubiquitous like Veja

Chimboo · 04/07/2021 23:09

I’m a size 7 pretty much everywhere except Adidas, which have always seemed to come up small. Have two pairs of Air & Grace trainers, high tops and the normal ones and I LOVE them. SO comfortable - and the glittery high tops are still glittery and look new after three years of abuse wear 😀

Chimboo · 04/07/2021 23:14

Oh - I also have problems with plantar fasciitis and my Air & Grace trainers are both in the small group of my shoes that don’t aggravate it Smile

Myshitisreal · 06/07/2021 23:59

Thank you for the responses you wonderful helpful people..

I've ordered airandgracelondon.com/products/cru-black-star-trainers?variant=6132656308262 & airandgracelondon.com/products/roxy-grey-leopard-velvet-trainers?variant=32982685384747 but will definitely send a pair back.

Wee moment of weakness 😬

I really like the pair with the stars but choked at the price! Very jealous here, wish I could afford them! Hope they work out for you 😄

Myshitisreal · 07/07/2021 01:21

I'm choking too 😂. Believe me. I'm not quite sure how I've justified it to myself but I have and they're on their way. Funny thing is I'm a charity shop shopper usually (by choice for many reasons ) . It's incredibly rare I buy brand new things, so if I keep them I very much will appreciate them, treasure them, and keep them for years to come. I gave my husband the Web page and he was able to pick out the pairs I like, so they're very much my style (and I'm obviously very predictable 😂)

OP posts:
Myshitisreal · 10/07/2021 00:15

The star ones are too tight 😭 They are a thing of beauty very much my style. Would be very hesitant to get an 8..never wore a size 8 in my life.

The others will arrive next week.

J0nah · 17/07/2021 07:11

After reading this thread I bought the Cru star trainers. I'm normally a 7 but bought 8's and they feel fine and don't look big.

Myshitisreal · 17/07/2021 21:07

Oooo how nice. I'm so glad you sized up. I'm waiting on an 8 coming in the leopard. They are so much nicer in real life. I asked my husband which he thought were more me and he agreed! Great return system with the scanning the barcode system
