Natural blondes and grey hair

I have naturally dirty blonde hair which has the occasional red and brown hairs running though it. Over the past year or two (I’m mid 40s) I’ve noticed more colourless hairs, for want of a better description, which I’m assuming are my grey hairs. I’m the only one in my family with blonde hair so I’ve no idea what it’s going to look like when I go fully ‘grey’. Any natural blondes out there who have gone grey - if so what type of grey, do you colour it or tone it now.

I was very blonde/white when I was young, then went blonde/blonde and was highlighting throughout my life. Gradually from mid 40's I noticed that the highlights weren't really making much difference, and opted for warmer tones. In the summer though, my hair was bleached white/silver, much better than the actual highlights. I have then left it now for a couple of years, and everyone thinks I just have very blonde/white hair, in fact it is just "colourless", but I suppose as it has gone white naturally, and I was pretty fair anyway, it is natural on me. I am very lucky, saving me loads of money too Grin.

Sadly, as is often the case with very blonde hair, it has always been fine and sparse, and is getting worse...... not so good Sad.
