What shoes? Help please!

So lovely dh has surprised me with this dress that I have been dreaming of for weeks.
But I have no shoes to go with it!
Got huge long thin feet (size 8 😱) so what should I be looking for? Planning on wearing dress to afternoon tea in a couple of weeks so need perfect shoes by then.

The shoes the model is wearing are good for long slender feet. Breaking them up. Have a look at similar styles. Mary Janes also I break up the foot

Can I wear white trainers with it?

What about these from H & M?
Not too high so comfortable, also your foot won't be pushed through due to the gradient! A high enough instep strap to secure your foot when you walk? Good modern neutral colour too.
