First haircut in nearly 2 years (!) - clueless

Had my hair cut last early 2020 I think. We were shielding for most of the early part of the pandemic, then I was really ill so it wasn’t a priority.

It’s now the longest it’s been since I was a kid. I have what I find to be a difficult hair type. A little greasy on top/dry and flyaway at the ends. I’m blonde/grey. It’s fine and wavy with some curl. Type 2b, I think if you go by that hair types list thing. I struggle with lack of volume at the top and not looking like a bird’s nest from my eye level down!

I’m due baby no 2 in the winter and tempted to go short so I can wash and dry it quicker. At the moment it’s well below my shoulders.

Are there any shoulder length or shorter hair styles that would suit me? Would really like a new look but I’m totally clueless about hair.

I don’t really use any fancy products. I wash it every day and give it a quick blast with a basic travel hairdryer so I could definitely upgrade my approach.

I’d like to get some colour too but can’t really do that while I’m pregnant.

Thanks!

Try HairBros for some inspiration, they have pics of the cut and pics of how it looks on people on a day to day basis.

I got my hairdresser to give me the Brigitte cut as it looked nice down and up and it’s really easy to style.
