My friend owns a really beautiful ring which I seriously covet. No idea what you'd call this setting though. I've had a Google and gypsy seems to be close but not right. Any ideas please?

pics look a bit blurry to me but it looks a bit like a bezel setting

That's a bezel setting. Gypsy setting is more inset into the band like these. Those have a bezel around them that holds the stones in like the second pic.

Ok, thanks. I'll have a look now. It's a bit of fantasy shopping unless I find a bargain

I'm very jealous of your friend! A trilogy ring with bezel set pear side stones is my ideal Envy One day I'll get one with an emerald centre and diamond accent stones. Sometimes it gets called rub over setting too Smile

I think it's really beautiful. Any ideas where I'd look for something similar ish? Currently googling your description.

It's also sometimes called a rubover setting, might help get a few more hits in your searches.

Etsy may be a good start. Do a search for bezel trilogy or bezel three stone ring.

@Juancornetto
I haven't found anything super close but I do like this one. I don't know anything about jewellery so your key words were really helpful.

Try searching "low bezel set princess cut ring" or "bezel set princess and pear cut ring" if you like the shapes of the stones in the original. It's very low set, set almost into the shank (practical too as wont catch on things!)
