Rewards Credit Card for Shopaholics?

Previously I have held rewards credit cards (not in this country) that have allowed me to redeem for in-store gift cards and / or merchandise. I racked up enough points on one that I got a gift card to a major overseas department store that covered half the price of my Louis Vuitton bag.

I've not come across any such card in the UK. Do you all know if one exists? Say perhaps a Selfridges / Harrods / Fenwick affiliated credit card that can be used anywhere to earn points that can then be redeemed for in-store / online rewards?

House of Fraser used to do one. But not sure if they still do.

Thanks, I'll look into it, although I'd be hesitant to take one out because I feel like HofF won't be around much longer sadly.

Oh do they? I thought you could only earn when spending in their store?

No, you can earn points on all expenditure. You get more points in JL or Waitrose, but all spending counts.
