Anti aging

Anyone fed up of all these adverts about anti aging especially for women.
We should be proud of getting old and lived life but there is always some new cream/serum coming out.
No wonder we are all ashamed of our wrinkles, going makeup free etc.

Sugar YES SOOOOOO fed up with those bleedin' ads, the women who have 'work' done do us no favours, I don't care if they're embarrassed by seeing their younger selves on the enormous screens.

I completely admire the actors who don't have work done. there's pressure from many areas to look like we're wearing masks!!! Worse is the fact that even after spending a fortune a number of stars don't look them selves any more, I couldn't bear to look in the mirror and nor see my OWN face Grin Shock

Me neither I would rather have few wrinkles than frozen face/trout mouth😂

The worse thing is that the girls are starting to have work done very young now, their skin will be so stretched that when they are 70 they WILL look 90!!!!.

Those trout mouths don't even look pretty why do they do that?

I totally agree, you can't stop aging, the most I do is use collagen drops and moisturiser. In other cultures they respect the wisdom of the elders in this country you need to look 30 or plastic to not be looked down on. I've seen a few women on TV where they've had so much BOTOX that they seem to have difficulty opening in their mouths in a frozen face.

I think it's a balance. I like to look after my skin and hair, use a nice rich face cream at night and SPF in the day. Also make sure my weight doesn't creep up and that I get enough sleep. So that's anti ageing I suppose. I wouldn't rule out some Botox in future if I have deep wrinkles that bother me. Never say never. Don't see the appeal of the lips thing that's so popular though

I also, eat carefully, keep supple and slim ,not thin, ( including facial exercises which do work to stop the jowly look) but it's because I like to feel and look ok not particularly young.

Sleeping is important but we have an elderly cat who likes to yowl at night or dh snores too loudly, he's in his own room too!! Broken nights can't be helped!
