Hi,

Has any body used deemologica face products and then found an alternative you prefer, if so what have you found?

My friend always used dermalogica then she discovered Elemis on QVC and swears by their pro collagen marine cream.

I used all Dermalogica products for over 10 years supplemented by monthly prescription facials. I started to get fed up when you could buy the products anywhere as their USP was their face mapping and tailoring products to your skin.
I now use T.O for retinol, vit C and AHA peel, Sarah Chapman Overnight Facial (Trying to stop as so, so spendy but it smells and feels so lovely) plus a variety of face masks- Decleor, Eve Lom and Dr Hauschka currently. I will never stop using Dermalogica's Special Cleansing gel or Pre Cleanse though

I love a lot of the dermalogica stuff and always on the lookout for dupes so I'll be following this thread with interest.

I love the sleep cocoon moisturiser but it is pretty expensive.

I've found a Wishful one which IMO is as good, although still not super super cheap!

After ten years of using dermalogica intense moisture switched to cerave pm face cream and honestly I can't believe the difference cheaper and my skin baby soft and less spots and fine lines.

I’ll comment in case someone magically has a solution

I’ve used Dermologica on and off for years, but always come back to it as I can’t get the same results with other products.

The only one I have sacrificed in the past is the Tea Tree Water Toner [[https://www.lush.com/uk/en/p/tea-tree-water-toner-water]]. I’ve ended up buying the Active Mist recently, and I must admit, I prefer the Lush one.

I’m a aesthetician and I swear by Dermalogica and often sell lots of it to my clients. I have found ‘the ordinary’ products to be REMARKABLE and such good value for money. I have even bought the whole range to use for myself at home and that is a huge step for me as I’ve been using Dermalogica exclusively for 20+ years.

If your looking for specific product swaps - I can help. PM me

It would be useful to be a bit more specific...

What do you currently use?

What are your main skincare concerns - acne? Hyperpigmentation? Sun damage? Anti-aging?

Why are you looking for an alternative?

The answers people give will be different depending on that...

Personally I've got very into skincare recently and Iearning more about what various actives do from dermatologists on YouTube. I know use a variety of products but agree that The Ordinary is a great option, especially with the low prices.

If you post about what you're looking for I'm sure someone can help to say what The Ordinary products they'd recommend...
