Where can I get nice A cup bras?

Hi all so I was a 32b for ages but after feeding two babies my bras just look and feel a bit loose. The band fits fine it's just the cups are a bit big. So at a guess I'm down to a 32a. I live rurally so it's not like I can just go and try some on - is likely to be a mail order situation.

So, two questions:
-Your best online bra shopping recommendations for this size please, and
-How does bluebella sizing compare to h and m?

Former 34b wearer, now in a 30DD or 28E depending on brand, style etc. Not big boobs in any way but having been wearing properly fitting bras for a few years now the shape of my boobs has changed .
I can only assume that keeping all the breast tissue where it should be has sort of re moulded them.
It’s definitely a positive change, plus my posture has improved and my clothes hang better. So whilst smaller breasted women might not need the support of a well fitting bra in the same way that larger breasted women do, there are still benefits

Another small boobed person agreeing that weird boob or bust sizes aren’t helpful. I wear a 32A/34A. I think I did boob or bust once and it said 28C.

BirdIsland · 28/06/2021 13:43

Agree that BoB doesn't work that well for small boobs - we just don't have enough to work with the see a difference I think. And as PP said, my back size is literally the size of my ribs+skin, the back size BoB suggested for me was simply impossible for me to wear comfortably.

Bras are like shoes or jeans. You can't just go into every shop and expect to buy any pair of shoes in your size, you still have to try to make sure they're the right combination of toe width, heel width and seam placement not to feel wrong. I know in a particular line of trainers that I can get a 6.5 but in a different brand I need a 7 unless it's their "wide" range but another brand known for being wide is too wide on the heel so will always rub. There's another brand that has a seam placed just wrong so it catches a bony point in my foot.

Same goes for bras, they're all individual and your size is just a starting point.

Boob or bust does not work for me either. I'm a 32a. They sized me as a 28d and it was the most uncomfortable bra I've ever tried in my life!
Now I get £5 bras from primark or Shein do some really pretty bralettes that are super comfy.

BusterGonad · 28/06/2021 14:34

Your band is similar to your size, so I'm a 14 and wear a 34, so a 12 is generally a 32, 10 is 30 etc.

BusterGonad · 28/06/2021 14:36

Sorry, just caught up, ignore my above post.

Another small boobed person here who read PP comment claiming the difference between boob measurement and under boob measurement can't possibly be only an inch and thought... well, actually, sounds about right for me. Grin

(have solved the finding the right bra problem by generally not wearing a bra any more OP)

Boob or bust doesn’t work for me. I’m a size 8 but anything below a 32 band is too tight and to be honest most 32s feel uncomfortable.

I now wear bralettes from Sainsbury’s in a size 10. A pack of two costs £16 and they are incredibly comfortable. I’m flat chested so don’t need to worry about support.8

These are the Sainsbury’s ones I was referring to.

Women do seem to have bigger boobs these days so it sometimes can be hard for people to understand that yes, some women do have tiny breasts and they are wearing the correct sized bra. And it's all normal and natural! I'm a size 12 with a relatively flat stomach, that still sticks out further than my boobs!

Those bralettes look lovely

Just looked at Little Women. Finally, women with boobs my size! Grown women! How refreshing and the bras look so pretty.

Squiz81 · 28/06/2021 18:25

They are great, I don’t wear anything else now. Don’t think I could go back to hook and eye fastenings. Also the straps never fall down. Under the lace bit is a moulded cup so it gives a bit of shape.

I know exactly what you mean. I’ve come to accept my complete lack of boobs but the under representation has always made me feel like a bit of an oddity. It’s always reassuring to know other women have similar bodies…and are considered attractive!

I’ve found it very interesting that other people have found boob or bust doesnt work on their small boobs - I thought I must be getting something very wrong

LalalalalalaLand123 · 28/06/2021 20:23

I am very small breasted and I love Tezenis bras

kowari · 28/06/2021 20:49

I measure 30 underbust, wear a 30c, size 10 on top, so the add 30 thing works for me. They fit so much better than a 32b.

kowari · 28/06/2021 20:49

*add 20 I mean
