Half vs full head highlights

Hi all,

I've only ever had a half head of highlights (my hair is only light brown so I can sort of get away with it) but am getting married this year so I was planning on going for a full head on my next visit, in advance of my hair & makeup trial, given I might have my hair up.

This will mean having a full head done, then another full head 7 weeks later before the wedding itself.

My hair is currently in good condition - will have 2 full heads so close together wreck it?

I think the other options are to just to get a half head before the trial, then a full head for the first time before the wedding, or get a full head followed by a T-section, which the salon website says is a good 'top up' between full highlights.

Anyone got any thoughts?

Thanks!

Two full heads close together might not wreck it, but the question is if you will be happy with the colour? When you have highlights after highlights it can make your whole hair colour go much blonder rather than the highlight effects.

How many weeks between your second set of highlights and the wedding day? If you are wearing your hair up, you will make sure it it not too stripey in the temples. I like mine most around 10 days after the highlights as it feels like my hair again.
