Spanx - are they worth the ££?

Looking at getting some for my wedding. I'm a 16 with an overhang tummy which I hate.

Apparently they now have 'easy access' for foing to the toilet!?

In all honesty, the primark own brand version are waaaay better!

I've got Spanx and an M&S version - much prefer the M&S one! Nicer, smoother fabric and feels more sturdy.

I always get it from tk maxx - not always Spanx brand, but perfectly good stuff

Spanx all the way here. Difficult to get on, hit and sometimes a little uncomfortable but they do the job like no other.

You can't fucking piss through that 'easy access' hole though, certainly not after a few wines.

NO! There are many other brands that do the exact same- if not better.

I have a pair that go up higher around the waist. these are great, because they don't roll down leaving my stomach tyres hanging out if I bend over or move about! I vaguely recall a pair years ago that had straps over the shoulders which were even better for a smooth line, BUT, to use the loo required a full deconstruction of clothing!

Bravissimo do a range that's not badly priced. (At least they did last time I looked about 3 years ago).

I have a lindex pair that come with straps. Sold on ASOS. They are so much better than primark which did nothing for me. The leg is long on it but I roll them up if I'm wearing something short. They come with easy access to use the toilet and after a few uses, I'm a pro now.

If you do get spanx, size up!

They used to be worth the money when there was nothing else comparable on the market, but there are plenty better now. I even had some good ones from Laura Ashley.

I wouldn't recommend trying to use the easy access hole on Spanx to go to the toilet through, unless you want to spend your wedding day smelling of wee.

I love proper Spanx, no need to size up. Easy to roll down for the loo!
