Help me find a dress for a wedding?

So I'm going to wedding in August, I have recently had a baby, and need a dress as it's my best friends wedding- by the wedding I will be 11 weeks post birth. I have no idea what to go for, I'm not breastfeeding but need something comfortable. Any ideas? Many thanks

size,height?features like or dont?

TOWGA · 25/06/2021 09:23

@tolerable sorry didn't put that, I'm 5ft 2 currently between a 14/12 though I expect by the wedding I will be a 12. I currently have lots of lose skin after having baby, so don't like tight fitting dresses. Many thanks

Have you had a look at the Can I Breastfeed In It UK Facebook page? Loads of suggestions there!

How about something like this from Coast? This blue and the red one are quite bold colours, so will depend on your taste / colouring? But the style of the dress might be good and am sure you could find similar in other colours elsewhere. Drapes nicely over the middle area, but fitted on top and nice if weather is warm.

What's your budget, and what are your no nos?

I'd go for something empire line as your stomach might still be springing back, especially if you end up needing a c section.

Then some sharp tailoring over the top.
