Clothes steamer - what do you recommend?

I'm after a clothes steamer and don't know what to go for. Is there a massive difference between the hand held and upright ones?

I want something to freshen/smooth out my clothes, but I think that DH will mostly use it for his and DS's work/school shirts. Ideally it would replace the iron.

Budget wise, I would be willing to stretch to something snazzy if it's really worth spending extra.

Does anyone have any recommendations? Smile

I have this one amzn.to/3deqXN0 and I love it. Not used my iron in about 2 years! Only downside is it has a fairly small water reservoir, so if I'm doing a long maxi dress I usually need to refill the water. But other than that it's great. Sooo much faster and easier than using a clunky iron and ironing board

I bought the Steamery after reading amazing reviews. It's rubbish. Takes forever to get clothing steam free but it's OK on silk dresses.

I had the swan garment steamer. It's brilliant. I got it for heavy velvet curtains it worked a treat.

I hardly use it it be honest I don't iron a single thing but DH uses it more often and likes how quick and portable it is

Tittie it's rubbish. Every online review seems to say it's amazing. Eventually found a woman on You Tube who said it was garbage. Obviously that wasn't sponsored lol.

I would agree that the steamery products are junk... I bought a de-bobbler on the strength of great reviews and it lasted about two weeks. They refunded me very promptly and asked me to recycle it. I was also wondering about the steamer... but I think I'll wait until I get to a John Lewis IRL.

I have the Fridja handheld but I don't really steam that often. If you steam a lot then probably go for the other models
