Recommend a really good lightweight hairdryer with a diffuser

Hi can anyone recommend me a hairdryer to buy for my stylish DM who needs a lighter more manageable one than her current one, with a diffuser.
I use a Parlux but am not sure it's lightweight.
Thanks

Depends on your budget but the Dyson one is great and very lightweight, and it comes with a diffuser attachment.

Midlifemission · 23/06/2021 21:11

Thanks @29ac sadly not in my budget at all . I can't get my head around the price of the Dyson at all even though I did really like it when I tried it at the gym.

Yes, dyson if it’s affordable for your DM

Sorry x-post!

Thanks @dun1urkin I asked my hairdresser today and she also said Dyson ! Maybe I need to ask my DSis what she thinks - I am worried Dm would be scared to use it if she knew the price !!
@SpeckledyHen thanks that's very helpful too

The Remington Air3D dryer is lightweight and has a diffuser, I got mine for £65ish. It’s meant to be a dupe for the dyson, I don’t think it is but I wouldn’t be paying that money for a hairdryer.

Ooh thanks @BanningTheWordNaice that sounds like a lovely price tag ! Will investigate..

£50 from Argos now - I do have the dyson air wrap and I admit from using it with the hairdryer extension that I can see why people rave about the hairdryer but I would never be able to justify the money on the hairdryer alone.

Midlifemission · 25/06/2021 11:55

@BanningTheWordNaice I have read some reviews saying it needs a third heat setting and can suck hair in to the end as not covered ?
What do,you think to those ? Reviews look very good otherwise!

I like it - I wouldn’t want it any hotter.

Midlifemission · 25/06/2021 12:46

Ah yes I think they meant a middle setting but good you are happy.
I may go for it.

If you are happy to keep answering may I ask if you have long hair / lots of it ?!

Just seen there is a middle heat setting too actually so no idea what the reviews meant !
