Cropped trousers for short legs

Has anyone found a decent pair of cropped trousers recently? I’ve been searching the internet for a summery alternative to jeans and struggling to find what I want. All the cropped trousers seem to be wide leg culotte type things, or frumpy see through linen things
I’m 5ft 2 and a size 12-14 in trousers depending on where they’re from. I have a large waist but fairly slim hips and legs and I just look ridiculous in looser styles. I’m looking for something straight leg but not skinny, cool enough for summer, and available in petite sizes so they are genuinely cropped and not just half mast!
Do they exist?!

Have a look in Roman. I'm only 5ft size 16 and they for me a perfect length.

There may be more on there site. I don't have these ones but been impressed by some of their others jeans recently.

I’m a similar height and size and they don’t particularly suit me but the best I pave found are “magic pants” which seem to be sold in independent boutiques.

Try M&S Mia Slim Cropped Trousers.

They come up a bit bigger so go for the 12, or maybe even 10.

Boden Richmond petites are flattering IMO

Thanks everyone I’ll have another look, forgot about M&S! I have a couple of pairs of shorts, but I don’t really like my knees, so want a more covered up version. Everything seems to make me look like a teenage boy

Those magic pants look super comfy, but maybe a bit casual for what I’m after.

I'm a shortie and my defaults are the petite fits at M&S and Boden.

I'm 5'1" and last year I bought some great cropped jeans/trousers from Monsoon - not a shop I normally go to but the trousers were great - nice fit and not too long. I also have quite a few from M&S.

Have ordered the Mia cropped trousers from M&S, they look just what I was after. Fingers crossed! Thanks everyone
