My trusty Dyson has died - Dyson don't repair them and offered me a refurbished machine for £99 or an updgrade for £209

I need to replace it but I don't really want to pay Dyson prices - I have thick hair that can take ages to dry - all recommendations welcome

Sorry posted too soon. A few recommendations on a recent hairdryer thread but Parlux the clear favourite

Used this one for 20 yrs now, had only 2 in that time so reliable, powerful hairdryer with a long cord. There is a turbo version too which I presume is even more powerful.

I have thick hair and parlux has been a life saver for me. Not cheap but I've had mine about 5 years now and is used frequently by me and my two girls.
