Can anyone help me find some work clothes?

I'm about to start working in an office again after 6 years of working from home. Eek! It won't be a smart dress code, but I can't wait jogging bottoms either (unfortunately). So I need a range of smart casual clothes, preferably dresses as I find them more comfortable (don't like having anything tight around my middle).

I really like shift style dresses but as I'm really small (size 6) it's hard to find ones that don't swamp me. I like the style of Sosander, (think leopard print dress with trainers) but have ended sending back about 6 dresses due to the material feeling cheap or just not fitting great.

Can anyone suggest anywhere? I've exhausted the range in John Lewis and don't know where else to look (I'm really out of practice with clothes shopping). Any suggestions would be really appreciated.

I'm 6-8 and short... Last time I bought work dresses Urban Outfitters was the most successful shop, plus occasionally something from All Saints.

Hush?

I love the style of Hush. Unfortunately I find their sizing too big. Never looked at Urban Outfitters, will check them out, thank you!

Maybe Boden and Joules. Not sure on sizing but I have several simple work dresses from them - smart without being too much.

There is lots of crazy out there stuff in UO but often quite a few well cut styles that aren't too expensive either.

Thanks for the suggestions, will take a look!

Don't pay too much, next have nice trousers but I buy most of my work clothes from H&M and tesco, in summer cigarette type trousers and a blouse or shirt, dress it up with costume jewelry from primark and I always have a nice bag.
In the winter long trousers, boots and a jacket, I always look smart but refuse to spend a lot on work clothes
