These boots with this dress?

Yes or no?

The pictures are lousy but they're a very dark green suede with studs.

My style is slightly alternative.

Thank you!

I'd do it, looks great.

We may be in a minority.

Doggitydog · 21/06/2021 17:36

I’d say no, I prefer a flat boot with a dress.

Rollerbird · 21/06/2021 19:12

I'd also say no. Chunky sandals or trainers for me.
But... Where is the dress from? And how tall are you 😂

CordeliaGrey · 21/06/2021 19:12

I would say yes! Like the whole look with the denim jacket etc. You could wears flats or trainers too.
Please tell me immediately where the dress is from?

Girlintheframe · 21/06/2021 19:15

I'm not keen on the boots. Love the dress and jacket though

Anjo2011 · 21/06/2021 19:17

I like them both but I’m not keen on them together.

Undersnatch · 21/06/2021 19:19

I don’t personally like the boots with dresses look but love the dress and jacket!

MargaretThatcherMilkSnatcher · 21/06/2021 19:20

I love it all and you look great!

AmIPeriOrAreYouJustAnnoying · 21/06/2021 19:27

I'd prefer DMs with that dress.

Rollerbird · 21/06/2021 19:39

@amiperiorareyoujustannoying agree with dms

BitsAndBaubles · 21/06/2021 19:41

gorgeous

EllaPaella · 21/06/2021 19:54

I have that dress and have been wearing with tan sandals, both flat ones and a pair with a heel.
Not sure about the boots, it's a very summery dress and the boots give it more of a autumn/winter feel.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 21/06/2021 20:03

Boots and dress fine but need a biker jacket imo, rather than denim.

wombatspoopcubes · 21/06/2021 20:15

I don't like mixing black (shoes) with blue (jacket).

WineGetsMeThroughIt · 21/06/2021 20:15

It's a nope from me. The boots look quite dated, and the dress looks more of a summery dress. I also dislike ankle boots with dresses where you just get a peak of skin on the calf. It doesn't look right to me. Either the boots are too short or the dress is too short.

UnreasonablyPissedOff · 21/06/2021 20:17

I love the dress but not with the boots. Tan sandals would be much better

supermodel · 21/06/2021 20:17

I think it would look better if the boots were brown.

Toilenstripes · 21/06/2021 20:19

The dress seems too summery for the boots. If you do wear it you might want to put on tights.

Alonelonelylonersbadidea · 21/06/2021 20:19

It's a yes from me!

WhoNeedsaManOfTheWorld · 21/06/2021 20:20

I love the dress but I'd wear a chunky, flat boot, trainers or DM sandals
Where is the dress from?

entropynow · 21/06/2021 20:24

Boots are a bit dark for summer imo. However, it doesn't matter what we think, wear what you like.

EllaPaella · 21/06/2021 20:25

@entropynow I have the same dress and it's from Libbylovesco https://libbyloves.co/collections/dresses/products/layla-coral-maxi-dress?variant=39288745394263

stealthbanana · 21/06/2021 20:25

It’s a bit Granny Weatherwax for my taste but if you like it then go for it - can’t imagine you’ll ever have a unanimous yes on here!

EllaPaella · 21/06/2021 20:26

Oops sorry that was @WhoNeedsaManOfTheWorld

Turmerictolly · 21/06/2021 20:37

The models boots are flatter and longer - DM's maybe? I think these might work better than yours or maybe hippy type sandals.
