Fluffy brow product recommendations please

I quite like the look of the fluffy brown trend, but my bloody eyebrows just don’t stay up. I’ve been using the benefit brow gel but it makes them sort of shiny and crunchy. I also use the precisely my brow pencil and I’ve tried the one from huda beauty but I prefer the benefit one.

I was thinking maybe more of a pen style and a jee brow gel?

Would love some recommendations please

Glossier Boy Brow gets great reviews, including from Sali Hughes, whose opinion I always rate.

I've not tried it myself (using a knock-off version from Lidl at the mo, plan on buying Boy Brow when it runs out), but everything else I've tried from Glossier has been really good.

Yeah I’ve seen a few YouTubers mention that, that and one from urban decay. Glossier aren’t on beauty bay or cult beauty though are they which is a downside lol

You need a brow soap, spray some setting spray on to it and get a spoolie and brush up abs shape. Only thing I’ve found to last all day and not be ‘crunchy’. Lots of brand sell them and a lot of small Instagram businesses making and selling these lately

I tried with dove I think and it just got a bit greasy and white looking and I still need to fill a bit in so it was a hot mess lol.

I’ll have a look for a good price soap brow thing x

www.fluffyluxbrows.com/ I bought two from here a few months back. They’re fab, much better than a regular soap. Also get a firm spoolie if you want to try it out. Seems to grip the hairs better

I'm a Boy Brow devotee. Brushes them up, fills in the gaps, lasts and looks very natural.

Oh also I still fill mine in a bit when they’re set but notice I use hardly anything also helps to keep on top of dying them :)

I was holding out against glossier because I thought it might just be a triumph of marketing. Sadly for my bank balance everything I've tried has been tiny but brilliant!

Yup, here to say Boy Brow!

Rimmel do a cheap version of Boy Brow that's pretty good. I like it because I'm blonde and they do a cool taupe version with no red tones, which can be hard to find.

I came on to say exactly this!

Overplucking in the 90s and medication have left me with skinny pathetic brows and this combination has been a game changer. I have actual brows for the first time in years. I just spray the spoolie with a bit of water and rub it into the soap then brush my brows up. Any white lathery stuff I just wipe off with a cotton bud. I usually do them before the rest of my makeup so they have a chance to dry before I fill in with a brow pencil, not that much filling in is needed!

Don't bother with tiny brow soap compacts when a bar of Pears is about 70p

Boy brow although I’ve heard good things about elf make up having a dupe

BoyBrow is fabulous. A cheaper dupe is Elf Wowbrow.

I’ll get the elf one next time I’m at boots, then maybe work my way up to glossier lol.

What does everyone use to fill in the sparse areas? Xx

If you are going to look at elf I bet they do a brow pencil or pen, glossier have one that looks kinda like a felt tip, maybe have a look at some YouTube videos to get the hang of drawing on individual hairs to stop it from looking to blocky. I find boy brow has enough colour to fill mine in a bit but I think that’s because my sparse areas actually have grey and light blonde hairs that once they are coloured look fine. I sometimes tint mine which really helps.

Would the soap and a spoolie method be a similar look to brow lamination?

I just dye mine and brush them upwards with Collection clear brow gel - it holds them up and doesn't dry crunchy.

Oh I hate boy brow, I think it's awful and can't get on with it at all, it looks overdone on me and a bit like I've mascara-d my brows even if I'm careful, they look a bit crispy and over defined. The brown shade is too dark (and I have fairly dark brows) and the one lighter is too light. Its tiny for the price too, no free delivery unless you spend quite a bit and the applicator always has too much product on so I'm sure most of I gets wasted when I wipe it off. I'll be glad when I've used it up! Their cloud paints are quite nice though but again, similar cheaper stuff is essentially as good.

I get on better with using a superslim eyebrow pencil to 'draw' in fine hairs, brushing up upwards with a spoolie and then sort of set and fluff with an eyebrow wax (or soap brow type product) or a clear gel- I also use the collection one and it is perfectly good.
