Shoes for these jeans help!

I am meeting my friends for lunch in London and want to wear my new 'going out' jeans. I will wear with a fitted plain top and would have put them with similar shoes to the ones the model is wearing if I wasn't required to walk anywhere.

I want to wear trainers but are there any which won't look daft? I have no idea what to wear on my feet!

What about something like converse?

I'd probably wear black chunky flatforms sandals - I have some from h&m which I can walk in all day.

I agree with the flatform sandals suggestion, or a nice pair of sliders (there are lots around at the moment) if you can walk in them I can't

Something like these you'd hope the 'forever comfort' element would live up to expectations!

They're jeans so I think you could get away with trainers. What trainers do you already have? Could you try some on and post a pic? I'd try Nike AF1s or Vans Old Skool but that might be too casual for what you're aiming for.

Much as I like Nadiya Hussain, those 'forever comfort' ones are simply hideous. What about some kind of Birkenstock or similar style?

The clog sandals are the winners for me!
I am so not a fan of the mules/ sliders that seem to be everywhere this year.
I saw a beautifully dressed young woman in her early 20s trying to walk in a pair v similar to what the models wearing in the OP's picture.
She was clearly out on a date with a handsome guy & they were both dressed up. Standing still she looked absolutely wonderful. Walking.....disaster! She couldn't walk in them & she was bending her knees & sort of stomp walking, reminded me of a crab! I thought to myself that she must have regretted that choice!

Yes those clogs are beautiful!

I like those clogs, and they would be fine to walk to and from a taxi, but I wouldn't be able to walk much further than that in them.
