Alternatives to Mulberry Anthony

Looking for a luxury/good quality (but casual) cross body bag.

Was all set to buy a Mulberry Anthony last week but after seeing them in the flesh I didn't love any of them and really want a bag that I will love - am spending some inheritance from someone very important to me.

Criteria: soft leather, casual & relaxed style - think football Mum bag rather than out every night party animal type of thing!

Nothing too bling and no labels/brands screaming at you in huge text, but obvs some branding is fine.

Brown/tan/oak. Budget £700ish

Any suggestions?!

Buy a piece of jewellery or something instead and buy a less expensive practical bag.
if you buy something like a Mulberry Antony, check the weight of it empty and full. Leather bags tend to be heavy.

My dream would be the Loewe Puzzle Bag mini in brown but I suspect even second hand would blow your budget. Beautiful bag though.

Or look at the Celine Trio bag

Rowallan do nice leather bags

Radley do a bag that’s quite similar for around £150. It’s probably just as good quality too. You could then save the rest for a nice piece of jewellery or something.
I have a mulberry lily bag that I love but it’s not as hard wearing as some of my other bags. I love Kate Spade for good quality bags, and Charlotte Elizabeth.
Good luck!
