Can you help me find the impossible plus size dress?

I've spent half the morning searching for a dress that does not appear to exist so I'm reaching out in the hope that someone, anyone may have some useful links for me!

Requirments, sleeveless (but enough to hide bra straps!) and casual.
Knee length ish? I fall over Maxi dresses. Grin
Fits a size 18-20 without making me look like I'm trying to cover up or squeeze into a sausage skin.
My body shape is a lanky 🍎, best way I can describe it.
42H boobs means I cannot do without a decent bra, I'm also tall 5'9 so don't tend to wear anything other than trainers or flats on my feet!
Budget of £40 -£50 maximum

All links welcome. Smile

Have a look at Gudrun Sjoden - not everything will be within budget but they do some lovely stuff for all shapes and sizes, inc those of us more generously upholstered!

Maybe something like a midi shirt dress or a jersey dress with a collar and some buttons?

Will have a hunt!

Try next. Was pleasantly surprised to get a dress online there last year for a wedding - am a 44gg size 20. Was in the monsoon section.

@Imtoooldforallthis ooh that's nice

Jesus, look at that monstrous link! Sorry, it's from Boden. A yellow shirt dress type thing with a tie belt. I don't like the way they've tied the belt, but think the dress is nice.

Attached pics from H&M and ASOS. The baggier shirt dresses you could add a belt to, (I'm a 16/18 hourglass and I have to do this a lot).

The wrap dress is nice and goes up to an XXL I think, which would be a 20 or 22 I think. Not available above a L in navy but is in the other colours.

Check out never fully dressed’s curve collection. Beautiful (but bright dresses) and their insta shows you lots of ways to style their dresses, skirts and tops!

It's for a 'sort of' occasion, but a casual one.
Hubby has booked us an entire week off, minus DS (4!) and as its the first time we've actually had time to ourselves since he was born I thought I'd make an effort!
Think afternoon lunches and wanders by the river type of vibe!

It's usually the boobs that push me over to a 20, it feels impossible to dress nicely and not in my 'mum outfit' or looking like I'm wearing a tent.

I'm in such a rut!
