You’ve got dry hair. You put something on the ends to stop them going fluffy

What is it. How much do you use? After drying or before

TIA

If it's your styling you need straighteners or babyliss big hair.

@FedUpAtHomeTroels

Garnier 3 in 1 Hair food.
Second this. I use is a leave in, just on the ends everyday. It's brilliant and I swear I get way fewer split ends now from doing this

Tigi bed head styling cream, a tiny blob, or hair fudge light wax. Or failing that anything with a bit of oil in it, I’ve used facial rose oil, hair serum, Vaseline 🙈 and nivea face cream. It all does the same thing!

Watching with interest
My hair is so thin that any product makes it look greasy. So I’m
Flummoxed what to do.
I just scrape it back but I’d love to have soft non frizzy waves or curls.

L'Oréal Elvive zero frizz serum, before drying. Miraculous stuff

LadyEloise · 20/06/2021 01:19

Vitapointe.
Old fashioned and cheap. But it works. Use a teeny tiny amount.

@ZaraW

Davines Oi hair oil on damp hair.
I use this as well - only I use it after styling. One squirt in my palm, distribute over both palms and then smooth through my hair with my fingers.

Bed head after party - used this for years!

Good quality salon products - shampoo and conditioner, leave in conditioner, hair oil, and heat protectant. Kevin.Murphy is my favourite brand.

I've invested in a Dyson Airwrap and it is a game changer! I have very curly and frizzy hair, which was getting damaged from hair straighteners/curlers. The Airwrap has completely changed my hair, and it looks like I've had a professional blow out everyday. Best part is it only takes 10 minutes.

Ask your hairdresser to explain what it is they're doing. If you still can't reaches the it at home, consider purchasing the same haircare products they use, including the styling tools.
