Anyone know lots about musky perfumes?

I love a good musk. I recent rediscovered a decant of Muscs Koublai Khan- no way could I afford to buy it. Is there any that you would recommend that is in a similar vein?

I LOVE musk perfumes
A quick look at www.fragrantica.com suggests the following that resemble kublai Khan;
Khiels musk
Bal a versailles
Pappillon Salome
Jovan oud

I rather like 4160 Tuesdays temptation for a very wearable everyday musk.

Also mmm replica whispers in the library

@Mrs08 I have Salome and it’s nothing like MKK sadly. I find that more skanky than musky- I so like it but it’s not a love.
I tried BAV a while back and on my skin it just smelt like talc.
The Khiels sounds promising 🙂

Lol- it is niche. I find it very sharp- it never warms on me. Keep wondering whether I should sell it. A far better skank is guerlains sogne d’un Bois d’ete- but only the original.
